I’m working on my debut novel THE BLACK ISLE, which will be published by GRAND CENTRAL PUBLISHING, part of the Hachette Book Group.

The Black Isle, by Sandi Tan, a Singapore-born film maker, is an astonishing tour de force, a “ghost history” of Asia over several generations, narrated by an elderly scholar whose name and writings are being systematically eradicated so it seems as if she has ceased to exist. Exotic, at times brutal, chilling and occasionally comic, it’s the debut of an extraordinary literary talent.
At the moment, I’m far too cautious to reveal any more than that… I’m still writing!!
